What Should I Bring On My Trip?
All set? Ready to catch the big one? Ready to set out on your trip?
We are too, but don’t forget to bring a few things with you on your fishing trip:
· Sunscreen
· Sunglasses (polarized preferred)
· Hat
· Jacket (weather resistant)
· Food, drinks and water in small cooler
Don’t
forget the camera and a cooler big enough to take your catch home! Do I
have to clean my own fish? You can if you want, but the marina has fish
cleaners to take care of it for you, for a fee, but well worth it after
a day on the water. What’s the best way to cook up my catch when I get
home? Check out some of the great recipes for preparing the fish we
catch in the waters of Avon, Rodanthe, Salvo, Waves, Buxton, Frisco and
Hatteras – https://www.outerbankscatch.com/recipes/
If prone to
sea sickness dramamine and the scop patch should be taken the night
before with a second dose of dramamine the morning of the trip. Bonine
is also good without the side effects of dramamine.
Do I need
rods, reels and bait you ask? No worries, we supply the rods, reels,
bait and the fishing license (while you are on the boat that is).
But most important, bring a great attitude and be ready for a great fishing trip.
